Conflict may arise when multiple cats are inside a home. Since cats are territorial, they can be touchy, and their alpha instinct will set off. This can lead to hissing towards each other and end up in a fight.

If your cats end up hissing in fighting each other all the time, it is time to step up and do something to prevent further conflicts. By doing so, try to give them their own space and separate them from each other for a certain period. Afterward, try to reintroduce them to establish a friendship.

Try to create a household that is calmer and more peaceful. This may attract a relaxing environment that can ease their tension. You can try and use pheromones, a chemical that appeases their feeling and keeps them calm. You can also try to give them their territory to keep the cats from fighting over a place.

If you have any questions or concerns about your pet’s behavior,  don’t hesitate to contact your vets East Gwillimbury.
