You are such an animal lover that having one pet is not enough. The thing is, how do you keep the peace in a multi-pet household? Here are some tips to help your pets get along:

Make each pet feel comfortable.
While your new pet is still adjusting, it would be good to provide him/her with his/her own space in the same way that the other household pets have their own spaces. This way, there is room to adjust and adapt without the pressure of immediate interaction.
Supervise interactions.
Be present at each attempt at socialization. Remember, their interactions must be a positive experience that they will want to look forward to doing again.
Provide enough resources.
Each pet should have his/her food and water bowl, litter tray, bed, toys, etc. Spread the resources as well. Situate them in different areas to ensure ample space for each pet.
If your pet is showing any signs of illness, make an appointment with your vet clinic Roanoke, VA.
